About
Music is an integral part of the cultural tapestry during Gokulastami (Krishna Janmashtami) celebrations in India. It serves as a potent bridge between devotion, spirituality, and artistic expression. During this festival, musicians and vocalists fill the air with classical and devotional compositions dedicated to Lord Krishna.
Moreover, Gokulastami embraces traditional dance forms that incorporate rhythmic music and storytelling. Folk dances like the Raas Leela reenact playful and amorous episodes from Krishna's life, accompanied by vibrant music, offering a captivating sensory experience.
In essence, music is a central element of Gokulastami's cultural celebration, connecting people with Lord Krishna's legacy and creating a profound link between music, devotion, and India's cultural festivities.
We have created a solid platform for our students to showcase their
musical talents.Students get a great opportunity to perform
vocal, light vocal and Jugalbandhi (a duet performance of two solo
musicians of two separate genres) on classical, folk and modern
music forms. We also encourage students to grow and learn
through musical performances.
